Bronx Hosts Gospel Concert













ENTERTAINMENT- Borough President Ruben Diaz Jr. hosted the “Generation Fest…Bridging the Gap through Music” Bronx Gospel Concert at the Dreiser Loop Community Center in Co-op City.




The concert was the first ever to be organized by the Borough President’s Senior Services Department under the leadership of its Director Larcenia Walton, and featured performances by LIVRE, DalQuan Davis, Vaughn Branch, Carmen Sanabria, Shayla Hernandez, Trina Mitchell, Destiny Davis-Tolbert, Christopher Mitchell, Andrea Brown, Edgar Cruz, Tony Smith, Angie Rose, Pastor Wilson Mercado, Richard Tolbert Jr. and the Bharati Dance Academy.

Doctor Bob Lee of 107.5 WBLS FM and Nitisha Moore served as the emcees for the program. The concert was sponsored by United Healthcare Community Plan, Alpha Care by Magellan Health, AgeWell New York, Blue Ocean Health Solutions, WellCare Health Plan, Center Light Healthcare and Metro Plus Health Plan.


Over 800 seniors, clergy, business, youth and community members were in attendance.
